I love beetle kill wood! What is the best stain or finish for it?

It depends on what you prefer. An oil based clear finish will instantly pop the color but will also yellow the pine and it will continue to yellow as it ages. A water based clear finish will not pop the color as dramatically but will help keep it true to it's original color longer.
