I absolutely wouldn't trim the roots, I'd put it in a pot a couple of inches bigger.

Good Deanna, but sorry that summer's coming to an end. Just rode out some fairly heavy weather, I haven't bought my 'I survived Hermine' T-shirt yet. Sept is the peak of hurricane season so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get a really bad one this year.

Deanna, As the root system gets bigger, so do the leaves. Just as Russ said, move it on up to a bigger pot. A little plant food is good too.

Thank you Barb! I thought about emailing you, but didn't want to bother you. I was hoping you'd see my post and give me some advice, since you've successfully grown the Clarinervium momma plant and her babies. :-)

I figured you'd get around to giving an opinion Barb, thanks for dropping in. I'm getting brown edges on the clarinervium, I repotted it into a different mix and waiting to see how that works. No way it could be from low humidity, so I'm scratching my head on this one.

Deanna, I wasn't in the path of the storm, it went north but I did get 'feeder bands' with a lot of wind and rain even though it was 700 miles away the last day the bands came through. I didn't have any damage, I did hear of a homeless man living in a wooded area that was killed when a tree fell on him.

I don't know Russ. It will surely take off and do well for you. I have grown it in lots of different soils over the years, some of them were more successful thanothers, but it's a tough plant, and it survived.

All the sans you sent me have produced new growth this summer. The hoya has grown a lot.

That's good news about the plants growing well for you. Thanks for the encouraging words on clarinervium, I know it's a tough one but I would like to clear up the browning. I've had the same issue with A. fausto-mirandae ever since I've had it, a couple of years now. They've both been where they get mostly watered by rain, so I'm doubting there's something about my water they don't like. Like pH.
