I was at a very old nursery with a table of amaryllises and there were a few among the group that had some of these markings on the leaves. I grabbed a miniature one that blooms blood red, but from what I can tell from the leaves thats there isn't these spots on them.

Well, I can't say that it looks like Mosaic virus to me. It looks to me to be something strong that was sprayed on the plant... perhaps some insect control or too strong a mixture of fertilizer that was sprayed on the leaves and perhaps the sun burned the leaves?

This is just my opinion, perhaps others will have a better answer for you.

I agree with Donna, they look like they have some sort of chemical burn.
