Well Katrina, it does have a thick, heavy leaf like the bats, but I've never heard anyone call it a bat. I have one and it's incredibly slow growing. Mine came from Juan a bunch of years ago.

I haven't bought my 'I survived Hermine' T-shirt yet, last storm bands blew thru last night and calm now. It actually wasn't a big deal here in central Fla, lots of rain and some wind. It was a big one though, 700 miles away and I was still getting bands swinging thru here. Still a few weeks of peak season left, so keep your fingers and toes crossed.
