I have grown Golden Wax 4 or 5 times. They make well and you should be able to get in a crop before killing frost sets in but you will need to plant them in the next couple of days. They maintain their golden color after cooking. They made a good crop for me, not hard to grow.

I have grown them but didn't like the flavour much. Back to green varieties for me. But that is a personal taste - lots of people rave over them.

We love them. I like to mix them with green beans when I am canning for that pop of color.
