On a recent trip to Poland and Ukraine I was able to see the various gardens people grow in those countries. I have pictures of a squash taken in a remote village of western Ukraine. I believe these are heirloom varieties and not hybrid. People save seed year to year. I was fortunate to have contacts who grow some of these varieties . Is any one able to tell me the name of this particular squash. I believe the variety to be very old heirloom and originated from Russia.
