No muss worm castings

My worms made these castings in about three months. Started with compost moved from my old house, there must have been some worm coccoons in there from the last time I did vermicomposting, all I did was keep the compost moist.

In this picture I have just brushed off the little bit of compost that was left on the surface. There were a few withered looking adult worms, they turned all the compost into castings.

So, put your garbage into a hot compost pile and feed the finished compost to your worms. You can even grow something in the pot while the worms do their thing.
