Considering the title I thought the color off until I did a GOOGLE image search.> Numex Suave Orange

They are a little yellow versus orange, but moreso in the picture than in real life. They would probably further ripen a deeper orange.

I am also growing these this year and cant wait until I have a ripe one. Mine are still a week or so out until color change. How is the flavor?

Peter, I tried my first NuMex Suave in scrambled eggs with some tomato and roasted garlic. I don't think the flavor was right for eggs. My question for everyone growing these pepper, how do you like to use them? Do you have a favorite recipe? This is my first year growing different kinds of peppers so I'm almost lost. I do have one of the chile books with some recipes and check pepper madness too. I don't want to throw everything into a hot sauce recipe.

Just made a WONDERFUL sauce using them without the seeds ( I plan to grow these with the seeds I saved) and it was VERY good
