I hope you are not in a high rise apartment, because garden sage (Salvia officinalis) is not a good indoor house plant, especially in summer. How big is it, and in what size pot?

Indoor plants, like others, require a balance between light intensity, water, fertilizer, and day maximum and night minimum temperatures.. If that is a plant you want to cut from for recipes, it won't be possible to keep it inside during the summer unless you can keep it in bright light and really cool temperatures, especially at night.

Agreed, culinary sage is not a good candidate for indoor growing. The part about watering once a day also sounds ominous (soil should not remain damp, but should start to dry out between waterings). If you have a good sunny location and want to try to save the plant, you could cut it back to about 6 inches in height and see if it produces healthy shoots.

rich_defresne hey, I actually do live in a 4th floor apartment, the salvia reachds about 30 cm and the pot is 13. The thing is the sun only hits the side of the apartment where there are rooms, and on the balcony the sun light almost never reaches. So I have it in my room window. And rusty_blackhaw how frecuent should I water it? When I see that the soil is dry? And, so you recommend cutting 6 from top to bottom to see if it grows healthy there? I know have watered it less and put in a sunny spot
