The one on the left looks like 'Gold Flame' to me. Mine has multiple leaves like yours too.

Kwie, I think your unidentified sans is a Gold Flame, one of the Futura-types. The yellow stripings in the leaf interior are typical, as well as the leaf width and the high number of leaves. In the past, I've counted more than 12 on some examples in pictures on a Google search.

Your rosette is more open than the normal Gold Flame, but your Futura Superba is also more open than usual. So while these are very healthy looking, I'm assuming they are grown indoors or on a shady porch where light levels are a little lower than optimum.

Interesting about leaf cuttings producing a solid green plant without trifasciata bandings. I would have bet it would produce a Robusta which would have those bandings, but go figure.

Maybe someone else will have a different idea about what it is.

I'm really surprised these are the same cultivar. They might look alike in the photo, but the leaves are very different. The one on the right can be folded easily, like a normal Sans. If I tried that with the mature leaves of the one on the left, they'd break after just a few degrees. They are very thick, stiff, and smooth. I bought it when Walmart had dozens of them in all different patterns and colors, but all the same thick, stiff leaves.

the rosette of the one on the left has been pretty open since I bought it, Russ. If this is due to lower-than-optimum light, the new pup should be more columnar. They'll be in a window with a mirror behind them this winter.

Are those power plants also yours, Stush? I'd ha e never guessed they were the same type either. They are very pretty though.

Kwie, Yes, they are all mine. Right now, I have too many 'Moonshine', & 'Eve'. Come next summer with all the pups I have, I will have to thin down my collection again. Any 'Moonshine' takers?

Eve is the reverse pattern of 'Whitney,' isn't it? It's on my list. I have 'Whitney' and 'Moonshine.' Sans are so addictive. Hard to believe I once thought they were ugly and boring.
