how does the spa work?

I'm always curious about these types of spas. Is the water level somehow drawn down before running or does it rely on the water being heated faster than the pool water can cool it off?

We get that question quite a bit Ryan. The trick is a valve system that diverts all flow to the spa. When that happens, the spa ceases to 'flood', and the two bodies of water are separated...which allows the spa to be heated on it's own. Hope that helps.
