New Dino Purchase

Hi everyone, long time lurker but thought I would finally make an account and share a picture of my newest acquisition, my Dino tree. This one is a monster, even bigger than I thought. I plan on doing an anti fungal soak before putting her in the soil.

Thanks! It's definitely the biggest of all my plants. I'm going to get some pictures up soon of the rest of my adeniums.

Absolutely gorgeous plant. Which hybrid is this. Dino's trees are quite simply amazing.

Are you in a nice warm climate? I love my plants from the family Dino.

I started planting my new acquisitions in a mix such as Melissa uses w her new trees. What an amazing differences for me.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of your tribe.

It's an Arabicum MKMK. I am unfortunately not in a warm climate, 6A. I will bringing my plants in by the end of the month most likely, but it's still warm enough outside right now.

TJ hello and welcome to the forum. That's a great plant you have there and we look forward to seeing your others too. You will get sound advise here so it good to have you joining in. If you can add some location info after your name via your homepage, country/state/grow zone or whatever, that can often help when asking for advise....and makes it interesting to see where everyone is from also!

I bring mine in also. Have my big guys inside as of today. They are such conversation pieces and add a nice touch to the decor, I think.

I had one of my large ones on a plant stand in Bathroom and my Dad when he came back from where it is, "said what the heck is that thing". I just said a wonderful plant.

Your choice of "MKMK" is a good one and very nice form.

Rick, that is so true about them sparking conversation, I have also noticed this on many occasions! Most people comment on mine even though they look nothing like these stunning Dino trees we are seeing more and more often on our forum. Hopefully mine will eventually get to 'similar' proportions.....but I fear I may not be around to experience them at that time, ha-ha!! So for now, I continue to admire Just as they are each and every day:-)

MKMK is not a cross from dino, he probably got this from one of his friends, but definitely not a dino creation.

nice plant, i would suggest to clean the roots, but everybody his own ways.

MKMK is a great choice and has been around for a very long time. Dino always has very healthy trees and starts many outside of his own crosses/hybrids, but then I assume this is not a concern of yours. MKMK had originally been lost, saved by grafting to continue it's lineage.
