I do not care for rugs on top of carpeting, and I don't like the screen/divider behind the headboard, although I bet it's a special piece to the homeowner.

I really like the simple, understated bedding, the art, and the fact that the furniture doesn't match (except for the nightstands) but is complementary.

Do you suppose that's a photo mounted in that lamp?

Well, It IS a designer. How wrong can I be. Still, i guess it doesn't have the too pretty to be used quality,. What do I know!

I like the decor of this house. Thanks for sharing.

Nice.

I hate that bedroom lol. The animal prints are so contrived and the bedding looks cheap, although I'm sure it wasn't.

The living room is nice imho.

Love it. I want that much art in my life.

Not lovin' the big game hunting theme, particularly the cheetah draped over the couch. Not even sure if that is legal . . .

Could be faux:

I hope so! I don't even think you can legally buy that kind of stuff even if it is antique. But I guess you can inherit it. I have some beautiful ivory pieces that my mom got in the 50's . . . so I guess I shouldn't judge.

I immediately felt at home there. I like the quiet and yet not boring color palette and the multitude of art on the walls. It seems like a very comfortable and yet sophisticated environment.

When I saw Chijim's name I figure this would be a nice one to check out. To me a very appealing room. Most bedrooms on line strike me as looking formula and unused, more like displays in furniture showrooms than places where living takes place. This one's collected favorites suggest a place that's enjoyed, supported by comforts like reading lamps, good bedside tables, comfy carpet and so on. I could live there. My own art, of course. I' be happy to keep the screen and that nice pieced quilt, though. Thanks.

Ingrid, the art reminds me of your home's art that's obviously loved and appreciated.
