I got a rain chain this year and hooked it up. Of course I ran into issues. It is going into a rain barrel, and the rain barrel needs an overflow pipe attached, but I can find plenty of ways to do that online. But the rain chain of course, they are cups, so when we have a downpour, the first cup isn't big enough of course for the amount of water that goes into it and it pours out all over the place. How can I fix this? And yes we got a rain chain adapter plate kit where the piece protrudes out of the gutter hole and has a bolt to hang the chain on.
