So I live in the middle of the woods and after two years of trying to keep a green grass lawn, I am over it. Way to much shade plus I assume the water is sucked up by the trees before the grass even has a chance.

After some research on alternatives, the best solution I could come up with is a moss lawn. After all, there is already more moss in my yard than there is grass!

The issue i am having is I am not sure exactly what moss I currently have growing in my yard and I am running into research overload on the internet.
