Winter Garden with a Hoop Tunnel

Hey all! Relatively novice gardener here. I had some success this summer with a modest raised bed and have caught the gardening bug. I've purchased quite a few gardening/horticulture books and have somehow convinced myself that I'm able to grow greens during the winter months.

As optimistic as I am, I'm not sure if spending time building a hoop tunnel for my raised bed is worth it or not. Winter can be pretty brutal in the Midwest, especially after the new year. At the moment my plot includes spinach, Swiss chard, dinosaur kale, onions, and potatoes.

Does this plan sound feasible? What measures would you all recommend to help maximize my chances of success? Any and all suggestions would be amazing. Thanks!
