It sounds nice. Personally, I like it when landscapes design themselves. I like sedges and let them stay where they sprout in our landscape, but if they pop up in the fenced-in garden where I grow herbs, flowers, fruits and veggies, I dig them out. Often that means I have to dig very deeply to get them. They usually aren't a problem for me here in southern OK in dry years, but in wet years, the sedges pop up everywhere.
