This room is open to the kitchen, and partially open to the living room. We're replacing the flooring with hardwood, the chair rail is now down, and new trim is being put around the window and sliders. (And let me know if anyone wants that fabulous light we're going to remove :) ). I'd like to have banquette seating for at least 3 or 4 people, plus as much additional seating as possible. People tend to hang out in the kitchen area and this is very open to the kitchen. We probably will not have a TV in this room. The sliding glass door slides to the left when you're looking at the plan.

I'm posting pictures of the room as it currently is, as well as pics of some banquettes I like. Please let me know any suggestions you have. I'd love to have a loveseat and at least one or two other chairs in here. My style leans toward contemporary. Also, please let me know what size area rug you would suggest and placement of it.
