Folks - please take a look at this area of dead grass in my front yard which faces West. This started last year and has gotten worse. I put down GrubX last fall. I water on odd days via an irrigation system. The homecenter said it looks like I have a "vole" problem. Looks like the bark on my tree is being eaten as well. Any ideas?

I live is west suburban Chicago. Zone 5
