My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Where's @Bev? Anyone heard from her?

We haven't heard from Bev since 9/12. Should we be worried?

    Hi Everyone! I'm very alive and well and thanks for asking. My knee has healed remarkably fast--I have not had to use my walker since the end of week 3; I have been walking normally up and down stairs since the end of week 4; and my doctor says I can go back to bowling next month! I also do not need to go to physical therapy--I just need to keep doing what I have been doing.

    I decided to reopen my Etsy shop about a month ago since the venue where I usually make hundreds of dollars over Thanksgiving weekend has closed. It's where I sold tons of the jewelry that I make. I decided to reopen for this reason and also due to friends on Etsy wanting me to come back. Etsy provides the software to open a shop but the shop owner does all the work! I have listed 188 items, more if you count the items I have already sold. I post at least 3 photos of each item. This means I take all of the photos and edit them on software before posting. Once I post the photos, I have to describe what the buyer is buying and all of this takes quite a bit of time! I'm almost done posting my jewelry; now, I need to make some more coloring book bags since they were a huge seller for me last year (I sold every bag I made)! Then, there is the time I take each day promoting my shop through the teams I belong to on Etsy.

      Thanks, I'm on iPhone presently; not aware of how to do so....I'll get on computer in the morning. Worried. Bev is typically so present ...

      Bev mentioned in a post a month or so ago that she was having, I think, knee replacement surgery so assume that is why she has not posted recently.

      I, too, miss her as I always enjoyed reading her kind, helpful posts.

      Wishing her a speedy recovery and hope she returns soon to Houzz.

      Bev has re opened her etsy store. She has been busy with that. She thanks every one for their concern, and will pop in soon!

      There is a system called the Houzz Buddy. Everyone nominates a buddy that they communicate with to tell why they are away, and that they are still alive. The buddy reports back to Houzzers, but leaves out the details, for privacy.

      It's only as I described. It was started by Houzzers. Easy to pick someone you trust on Houzz, then privately communicate with them if there's an absence.
