Morning glory disease?

Hello fellow gardeners! I cannot for the life of me figure out what is killing my morning glories! The leaves start off green but then get bubbly looking and then yellow and finally brown and dying prematurely. I've taken infected leaves to various nurseries. One guy said scale. So I got insecticide. Followed the instructions precisely and no luck. Another nursery guy told me scab. And I used disease control fungicide which isn't working (both times used dr. Earth brand sprays) does anyone know what could be causing this? the leaf on the left is just starting to bubble and the leaf on the right shows it fully yellow and about to brown. I don't see any insects on any of the leaves. Thank you in advance!!!

It looks like a virus to me. I am not certain how to deal with it except drastic measures of discarding plants, soil in pots and maybe the pots too, disinfecting your tools and start again.

Thanks Gerris2 for the reply! I've got morning glories all up the side of a fence so I really don't want to start over! But maybe I'll research more viruses and see what I find out

If it IS a virus, it can't be controlled. Removal is the only option.

Generally, blistering like that is a symptom of oedema and many plants in the Convoluvulaceae can be prone to this ailment. It can be unsightly and disfiguring when extreme but is unlikely to cause serious damage to the plant. It is not a disease or insect problem but a cultural condition caused by improper watering practices, usually far more than is necessary :-) Cut back on the watering, providing only enough to keep the plant turgid and avoid wilting and see if that helps.
