I found this on the net, sorry couldnot find a reference to give credit here....but with all due respect, wanted to share it with folks here...

first went wow, and then started thinking, ok, how do I do a similar, hmm, induce extensive branching, for multi grafting different scions identify flowers that bloom same time,....and yada..yada...yada...

but my experience is when we graft multi blooms on a single stock, one will become aggressive over time and pull more resources, growing fast, while other will over years slow down and will not be able to draw its fair share of resources leading to lopsided development:)

but then again after a while when i revisited the photo i thought, nah, beauty is in simplicity.... And on second thoughts maybe this is not for me:)

Is that for real, surely not? If you look closely at it, there doesn't appear to be any flower visible that isn't fully open, i.e. able to show its full colour/pattern, there's no bud clusters and no partially opening flowers. Somebody has made use of Photoshop or similar! It's a good job, but a bad one in other respects! Gotcha!

Conny, your thoughts on its credibility?

Shimolee, any info as to where we can view this plant where it was actually posted, what kind of site was it shown on? I've been doing some searching but not come across it so far. Thanks :-)

It is definitely photoshopped. The leaves are the same through out, which will not be the case in a multi grafted plant..leaves will be different all over because it is so on one of mine.One of the branches has grown from below graft and has different leaves than grafted scion.

Gill, I fully agree with what you said about it. I just meant that if I did ever come across a DR like, I'd give my right arm for it!

Not sure, but to me this looks more like a floral arrangement, using a floral foam cone, and inserting various flower "stems" to make a floral topiary.

Gill, someone on a fb group had posted few days back, no clue which of the many i subscribe and no idea if its an arrangment or a graft...was on the phone doing a quick browse and saved just the photo not link...

yup all chances could be a photo edit or just an arrangement.. Just a hoax... But yea worth while to see it once:)

@chocolatesnap, instead of a floral cone why not graft the branches:) but i know what u mean....its just inspirational for multi grafting different flowers on a single root

I do not mean to be a pessimist, but I would doubt very much that this is one plant producing what is in the photo. Looks very nice, to get that many single blooms mixed throughout as they are, I do not believe would be the case.

there are a couple of the sellers from Thailand who offer plants with multiple grafts. I have not seen pics of any of them in bloom once matured. It would be nice to have one like this wouldn't it? I could have a much larger collection in a smaller space.
