Glad you had to hear you had minimal damage Chris. Those Persian Limes are real beauties.. :) I have one full grown one on mine and is almost ready to pick, plus, a few babies. Careful!! They grow up so fast.. :D

They are a little under ripe, but by the time I get back from taking care of mom, they'd be a lost cause:(

I'm sorry Chris. You can still use the yummy zest and as much juice as you can get. I hope and pray that all goes well for your Mom. I'm sorry she's going through that. When you need support, your citrus friends will be here for you!

The bigger one looked pretty ripe so good for you making a decision. I am in a hurry to harvest too because anything can happen... I can be waiting and waiting for the perfect ripeness and then all of a sudden hail comes through and pooches everything. So now I go for it as long as I am sure they are pretty close :).

The pic in my avatar was my first bearss lime and it was a bit underripe. Full flavor but less juice than to be expected. Spot on zest though!
