How much do pods cost?

Does anyone know the range for what someone could expect with using Pods for moving / storage? I realize I could call them, but wanted to try here first because once they have my phone number, I'm afraid I'll never escape the calls. :/

It depends on if you are moving, what time of year and what company you select. I needed one for storage in my driveway during a renovation. I remember is costing around $100 per month for one large pod, no moving involved. I called around to four or five different local companies.

I've used them twice fairly recently.

Delivery to your home and first month of storage about $450. Coast to Coast move one large 16 foot pod. About $3200. Delivery to new place and another months storage, another $450. 10k insurance is included. Your homeowners insurance will not cover stuff out of your posession, so you may need to buy more.

Google pods coupon code. There's a good one out there now. Prices above include the savings.

PS get a quote. They won't bug you.

I have used PODS twice now. Good rates and fantastic customer service online, on the phone, and in person. I wouldn't hesitate to call them. They're only going to do what you want them to do.

IIRC, you are having flooring installed. My recommendation is a u-haul. I rented one , cost ~$50/day, plus mileage.

Call them...that's the only way you will get a reliable estimate for your situation. I doubt they are going to bug you. If they call you back, tell them you have their number, you'll be in touch when you make up your mind, and that it's not necessary to call you again.

You can get a quote & reserve/order on line. I used the actual PODS company when we were doing renovations - there are many out there now. I think U-haul has a version & some local companies near me have them too. PODS was great - just an example - we were scheduled for pick up of the POD & I TOTALLY forgot & we were not ready to give it up yet. I called PODS at 8 am & they changed my order no problem. I would definitely do it again if I needed to.

I used Zippy instead of Pods because they were cheaper. Rates vary around the country. I think mine was around $189 per month for their largest container. You can get a quote online, no harassing calls later. Ask about additional fees-such as delivery to a different address, etc. Local storage, of course, is cheaper than moving costs.
