Quick vote please.

Please vote on my bedding choice. I have grey walls in my master bedroom and bathroom with wood vanity and wood furniture. They are a blank slate. I would like to carry the MBR color into the bathroom and I cannot make up my mind on what color duvet to use! Please help my indecisiveness :) I've had lots of turquoise in my home for about 6 years and I'm not tired of it yet, but am I ready for a change? :)

Turquiose or...

Spice?

Either works, I think, but it's hard to know without seeing the grey of your walls. If the bedding is returnable, I would probably buy both and see which one I liked best when it is in the room with the specific wood tones and walls.

Like the turquoise best but as we are going into fall the spice might feel warmer. Any chance you could buy two;)

Spice - I love gray and I love neutrals, period. In my own life and home, i am turquoised out. In fact my bedoom is gray with aqua and I'm going to start phasing out the aqua in favor of light beige and white with my gray walls. First thing for me will be a duvet cover to go over my only 2 year old bed cover. But you need to go with what makes you happy when you walk into that room!

I like the top (turquoise) better. The other is fine, but my pref is with turquoise.

    Turquoise.

You seem ready for a change, so go with the spice. Although I have to agree that the turquoise color wave looks nicer.

Personally I like the turquoise but then again, I like color. The spice looks too bland to me with gray walls. If you went with the second, you'd have to bring in something like throw pillows etc to bring some color in.

I don't see how the turquoise is any nicer than the spice. They're both the same except the color. I like the spice because gray and turquoise is so trendy and has been overdone, imo. Spice is something different and has a little more oomph colorwise.

You have to think about what else will be used in the room to complement whatever you choose for the overall look and color scheme you prefer, not just the comforter.

I wouldn't go matchy with the shams.

Spice looks pink on my monitor, especially the reverse of the cover.

I like them both, but if you have a lot of turquoise, get the spice.

I think the turquoise, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you need MORE color! I think both comforters look muted and subdued.

Go big or go home is my motto, so I'd go with a comforter with big splashes of color. Or choose the comforter you pictured and add more color in drapery, rugs, pillows, wall art, or a bed scarf across the foot of the bed.

Probably because I started my own master bedroom with turquoise (or rather very warm blue..)-and got fed up pretty soon. My first months in it were exactly like that first duvet..the yellow was more deep honey though. no, not enough. at least wasn't enough for me.

My bedroom still has turquoise of course(since I fell in love with a bed upholstered in turquoise lol-I'm destined to have it around, I still madly love that bed), and honey too..I just piled a lot of other colors on top of that scheme.

    I'm with snookums here..

Or get both? And then choose?

    Or just get both:)

Or get one of them-and then, with time, some others?

I have four duvets I think..Some are very quiet, some are loud. I pair them with different sheet sets as per my mood..

And I don't feel like I have a lot:) At all. Maybe because we didn't have top sheets where I grew up..we had only duvets, and they were treated like sheets..you would change them at the same time.

Here I couldn't find duvets for years-I thought no one uses them. I didn't realize they are sold separately..:) And cost much more. Still don't understand why. Oh well.

I also have 3 throws and blankets, of different weight..and different patterns

Why it should be just one?

Ah..I have a late enlightenment..:) We also never left them on the bed. All the bedding would go off in the morning, and hidden. Also not really beds-sofa beds. So they would look like sofas during the day. Maybe with throws on them, both for beauty and protection. In the evening, you would make up your bed again.

In short-it wasn't considered part of the decor or something.

That's why I probably don't get it. If you already have this possibility to show it off all the time-then why not use it and play with it, since it's (relatively lol) easy to change constantly..

Spice. I like turquoise, but the spice looks better in this setting.

In that pattern, I prefer the turquoise because the spice looks dated to me, like something from the 1980's maybe, like a riff on SW theme? I know some here decorate beautifully with genuine SW decor, but I mean the ubiquitous stuff that was very trendy for a while.

If you want something with the spice tones, I'd look at a different set.

They both look southwestern to me, as do either turquoise or spice. I like both colors.
