Vanda stem dying.

Hello everyone. I posted about these vandas a few days ago before my weekend trip to Nyc to visit family. I came home and sure enough, both vandas were not looking good. One of them has a spike that is nearly completely yellow and the stem that the flower is attached to has turned brown. The other vanda is starting to look like that as well

Are these the ones with the black sooty mold on the roots?

How long were you away? Were they watered while you were gone? How long have they been blooming?

I was away I was away for 3 days and yes they were misted every day while I was gone (same as I do when I'm home). I bought both vandas about 4 weeks ago when they were in full bloom at lowes
