Hmm, there are some Carnival Watermelon Heuchera at my local Lowe's. Some of the last plants left in their garden center. I might have to stop by to see if they've been marked down yet...

Picked up another new one: Carnival Rose Granita on the right with Electric Plum on the left.

The Carnival Peach Parfait did not take kindly to the cool weather this fall and is looking pretty shriveled. It was looking great through the late summer. Not sure why, but the other Carnival varieties in that bed are doing fine, still growing and looking great since it isn't that cool.

Carnival Watermelon is so cute! I actually haven't seen it before. Rose Granita looks lovely too. I have Carnival Fall Festival and have found it to be a great compact plant, very tolerant and does well in heavier shade (so far). I really like it.

Well my Carnival Peach Parfait did not survive the winter. It didn't help when my dog dug it out of the ground in the fall and left it laying on the ground. Something may have smelled off as it was the only plant she dug. OTOH, Carnival Coffee Bean survived the winter in a pot in my shed despite neglect that killed a few other plants. The rest of my Carnival series plants did well, although Candy Apple decided blooming was more important than new leaves. Perhaps cleaning up last year's leaves will change that.

Unless I want seeds I cut the flowers. I have never been fond of stick or spike like blooms on any plant. I but these plants for the leaves,
