The plants look like Ficus...very healthy for interiors but do like a steady temperature of 18-20 degrees all year round...great with floor heating !

Love the planter for the tree. How does it drain? Gardener told us our fig leaf tree had to have drainage, but we just don't like most of the ceramic pottery.

Yes, we love it too! This planter is a custom made redwood box with a solid bottom. We didn't like the look of ceramic pots for this room either- but the tree is actually planted in a large ceramic pot (with drainage) inside. The redwood box just hides it and creates more of a statement. You could also get a false top over the pot and put rocks on top so you cant see down into it.
