Help with (complex?) bathroom vanity design

We have a sump pump in our basement bathroom that we need to work around. I've attached some photos, our idea is to extend the vanity over top of the sump pump to have extra counter space but still have access to the sump pump.
It all sounds great in theory, however we are having a hard time coming up with a design that looks correct.
Note the location of sump pump in bottom left corner:
