Yes, spinach can be grown indoors. I would suggest using a "baby" spinach variety for easier growth and yield. Try "Catalina"...it is ready to harvest in 40-50 days. Spinach grown indoors will need a temp of 65°F to grow and thrive and can be grown under a fluorescent bulb lighting system or grow lights. Sow seeds in a soil-less mix and make sure you cover them well. Bottom water as needed and when the seedlings reach 2-3 inches, thin them until they are 5-6 inches apart.
