It's worse when you don't know it's disappeared until well after your last plant has died. Then a few years later you look for a new replacement and discover you're far too late.

Makes me crazy. There was a wonderful pansy. Early to bloom and late to end. Saw it for 2-3 years, then poof. Gone. And what's offered ain't even close.

Was it the wave pansy? I bought a planter four years ago and it overwintered beautifully to bloom profusely next Spring. Never saw it again.
