My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Sherwin Williams BAC Wiping stains, the following formula, 1 part Library Oak, 1 part Traditional Cherry, 1 part Mission Oak, 2 parts Black Walnut, 4 parts Golden Hickory. Yes this is tight knot, Knotty Alder.

    This is Sherwin Williams BAC = Blend a color wiping stain. It is not out on the shelf at your local Sherwin Williams it is intended for commercial use. A SW store should be able to either blend you this mix and provide you with application techniques in their Wood Classics consumer version of wood stain or possibly the BAC mixture?? Either way it will need to be applied to bare wood for good results then finished with a quality topcoat.
