Nice tree...no idea what type, but enjoy it!

I don't know...the fruit's unripe, so unlikely to get a sense of the actual flavor.

What do the leaves smell like when bruised?

Could be a grapefruit perhaps?

The bruised leaves smell bitter and are not very fragnant.

I inspected the tree and it forms clusters but small ones (three fruits at most,I will send pics of the "clusters" tomorrow.)

And I will definitely try to leave them on until February to see if they get sweeter.

I forgot to mention, when you check to see if the leaves on your tree has large wide petioles, check further down the branch. Many times the first couple leaves on a branch have not yet developed petioles typical to the grapefruit variety.

I've checked but all the petioles are like that.

Here are the pics but they dont look like clusters to me.

Oh and my neighbour says it's a pomelo×trifoliata.

But the leaves are way to big and the fruit has a very pale yellow when ripe.

I tried to post from the airport yesterday, but it does not look like it worked (if it did and this is a double post, my apologies).

That looks like my Chinese Grapefruit (pumelo) tree. Although my tree is much smaller in a container.

The fruits have a different shape and the fruits on my tree are smooth the one on the picture looks rough.
