Why do the leaves start turning brown and falling off of my hot peppers larger one the smaller ones are fine and growing i have grow lights in my basement and heaters going to keep the plants warm plus i have collected rain water that i store in jugs can't figure out why the bigger plants are losing their leaves ?

    Maybe you need to feed them. I use fertilizer formulated for tomatoes for my chili plants, and it seems to help them get bigger, especially since I grow all of them in pots. I leave my pots outdoors all year, as I never get frost, but I do start the seeds indoors, as they need more heat to germinate.

    Have you checked for pests under the leaves? I think some pests are more common indoors.
