The orb chandelier in the photo would actually be an ideal size for your table -- a good rule of thumb is that your dining light fixture should be between 1/2 to 2/3 the width of your table, if your goal is to highlight the table and seating around it.

Because this style of fixture is quite airy looking, it's large size never appears to dominate a room.
