Haven't tried to grow these, but from casual observation they need to be kept from drying out and various species are best grown into specimen plants.

Easy here in the sub-tropics, the species are mostly from elevation in the Philippines and are related to Coelogyne.

The name is suspect. Maybe just magnum. Google Dendrochilum saucoldium and see what comes up.
