As long as the plant is well grown, has been kept stored properly and is packed properly, as well as it not being subjected to high heat in transit, it should survive. I shipped bud wood from the US to The Netherlands, which required 8 days via Priority Mail and they arrived in very good condition. Presumably, the nursery from which you are purchasing the rose will know how to properly package it to insure its success. Good luck!
