Shipment From Rinoa

Ok, so I finally bit the bullet and placed an order (plants) with Rinoa on Wednesday, October 19th. As soon as I was provided with tracking information, I began tracking my package. I checked it this morning and saw the status in my screenshot below. Notice the verbiage "retention reasons: other". THIS is more than a little concerning.

For those of you who have placed orders with her before and tracked your package, is this standard, routine verbiage? ...so, based solely on that, I shouldn't be concerned? Admittedly, California is a bit stricter than some other places, but this isn't the state Ag dept. Maybe they work in concert?

OR, did I just throw $80 down the crapper? Plants to be retained and destroyed courtesy of The U.S. Customs Service?

Anyone words of comfort (or realization ) would be GREATLY appreciated.

This is normal Rinoa is good with shipping mine go to the same customs service

I am in Canada. From what it shows w your notifications matches what I would see.

The item is presented to Customs and once cleared Customs it will show, outbound to nearest postal facility.

It is normal for what you see. Take a deep breath :)

Always anxiously waiting and it will be once in your hands, you will be over the top.

I emailed her and she sent me a link to her Fall catalog. Hope this link works.

Once I found what I wanted, I emailed her my choices and she confirmed the cost including shipping. I paid by PayPal. It was all really very easy. The hardest part was choosing what I wanted. Soooo many beautiful flowers!

Well I got my shipment from Rinoa today. One plant looks perfect. Perfectly firm pure white roots. The other 2 I'm really concerned about. One root on one of them and three on the other look brownish with a distinct line of demarcation between where the white stops and brown starts.

took some pictures but the light is horrible in my house in the evenings. I'll take some more tomorrow. I'd like to know what you think, if you don't mind.
