Check out Carmela Orchids online. They have nice plants and their "we choose" specials have let me build my collection at great prices postpaid. I always get something new to try that I wouldn't have thought to order. Plus you are supporting an independent business rather than a big box store. As a store owner myself, this issue is near and dear to my heart. Also Carter and Holmes and Hausermann's have great plants and do their own breeding.

Sheila, did you find anything in New Braunfels? All I had found until recrntly was phals. Don't know what happened. I just hope they sell them so they will keep getting thrm.

I got a nice seedling vanda. It is named, yeah!!! Has about six or seven sets of leaves.

My OS members said they're able to buy plants from time to time. Most of the time it is just the unnamed phals and often priced $25 - 35.00. A lot to pay for a common looking no named plant.

Also bought an Onc Ollie Palmer. No longer called an Onc, but this senior mind does not remember it's new ID. We're on a first name basis anyway, I just call him Ollie . I've never tried any of the mule ear oncs, so a new challenge!
