If the white patches are powdery mildew (you can blow it away) you may have an air circulation problem. you can set up a fan to see if it helps. Neem will help, though you do have to apply it once a week.

If something is chewing on your leaves... can it be mice?

unlikely mice... I have a furry feline that is good at mouse patrol

The bites of the leves can be catrerpillars - if the moths made their way into your room and laid eggs. In this case you will be able to find them or at least see their droppings. Mice - also take chunks of leaves ... when your furry patrol is sleeping snuggly wih you. At this time of the fall - mice seek shelter inside.

I set up some mouse traps & nothing yet.... I will inspect again for Catepillars & try some neem oil just in case. Thanks!

Also, what about Asian beetles? They irritate me to no end. They gather around the lights since it is warm. Any issue for violets?

I thought they were a nuisance pest, but I thought I'd mention them. Only things I see so far.
