This is a real copper cap over ceramic - It can be used in showers, however it may develop a patina over time if constantly exposed to water and air, unless you seal it properly. Also it becomes slippery when wet. You would need to apply a non-slip sealer. Otherwise we would not recommend it.

Please note we cannot recommend any copper sealing procedure. You would need to check with your tile installer.

Also copper used as a flooring application may scratch over time if not sealed properly, however this may not be an issue in a shower.
