Most exciting is that my Golden Bell from December 2015 has six buds. They look pink. The middle GB is from October seeds. Bigger but no buds.

Some other blooming adeniums. None of these plants were marked when I got them, so I am pleased to have found three reds. I like the spiky pink blossom. Only three of last year's seedlings have bloomed, and they each had one or two pink single blossoms. But they are all growing and look good. I am amazed at the variety of growth patterns, some with compact fat trunks, and others long legged, others with bifurcated twisty trunks.

I like them all, but LOVE the shape of the pink flower.

I have had zero buds on my Socos as of yet, even though two of them are well over a foot tall. Great job!

My GBs are 7-10 inches tall. Jerry, youra are doing great at 12 inches tall. I was really shocked to see those buds all of a sudden. Most of my plants have had a growth spurt in the last few weeks.

Here's the funny thing Cynthia; we all pretty much had two batches. Mine were separated by one month.

My October batch is about 12-14 inches, while the November batch is only around 5!

Not only that, but of my largest, I had one much larger, so I repotted it. Then, the next in line needed a bigger pot a few months later, so I did that as well. Now, 3 months later, the smaller has outgrown the larger! The only difference? I potted the second one in a black plastic pot, the first is in a clay pot.

Very nice plants Cynthia, those blooms are lovely. That pale pink one with long leaves looks like the crispum type, maybe?

Thanks everyone. I've had My pink beauty about three years. I have left all my adeniums out all winter with no problem. Last two winters were very mild. If this winter is cold, I'll need to bring them in. I have no clue where I'll put them all.

Of course I'm getting the itch again. What seeds should I order next!??!!

Wow she looks a lot older, and I mean that in a good adenium way, not in a human woman way LOL. I've had mild winters too but just a few days in a row waterlogged in cool weather got to them. If I pull them under the awning they are fine. I didn't even cut the rot out. A few days in the sun and healed over. It just looks crooked :) I've decided I need a yellow one. Need to find yellow!!!

I would be proud to have those on my lanai!

I think pink beauty I think the pink beauty must be at least 5 years old. She was about 18 inches when I got her from Ace hardware. She has grown and bloomed consistently.

My tiny little six inch tall Golden Bell, planted in December 2016, has opened her first blossom. It's about one inch in diameter. I am so proud of her!

Latinlady, I planted several varieties of doubles, still waiting for them to bloom. Some whites, red and white, yellow and red. None were peach. I like that idea! I'll have to research peach.

You have such a great variety going already. A couple for contrast should do the trick.

I have about 80 seedlings in various stages of growth and am "waiting to exhale." I was aiming for variety from the start, so hope to begin see some pleasant surprises soon.

Rinoa has some beautiful peachy blooms. Yellow triple w/pink stripe also looks great for variety & contrast. I don't normally like yellow but found it rather striking. Here's KO57:

Please share yours when it (they) blooms. I only had 3 seeds of this one and am grateful they all germinated. They are only 2 mos old now, so I have some time before seeing blooms. I really do hope for at least one that blooms similarly.
