Does any one know where in can purchase cuttings or a rooted plant of this Hoya variety? The silver leaves are just stunning. Thank you!

From thailand like everyone else. lol

I do have a cutting that is rooting but it is not ready just yet.

Well I'm first in line when it's ready! I'm tapped out on Hoyas this season, so it wouldn't be very economical to order just one plant from Thailand "like everyone else". lol.

It has a new leaf coming in........

Gorgeous! Does it enjoy well drained soil as most hoyas? semi hydro?

I have it in free draining soil now but i think it might like a little peat added to the mix. Im not too sure. The leaves are pretty hard. When i let the cutting dry out, there doesnt seem to be any ill effects. and i dont grow anything in semi hydro.

Are you talking about this Hoya? I only know it as Caudata...not caudata silver.

That looks like the regular one. The silver version is heavily splashed with silver.

Anyone have a plant that is big enough to take a cutting from? I really would like this Hoya in my collection! If not, ordering from Thailand it is lol

Kinco, My big plant of it bit the dust!

Did it really? I'm sorry to hear that! Are they one of the pickier hoyas?

They are not picky but i think i let it go without water for too long!

Ah, bummer. Hopefully I can take care of mine accordingly and it will flourish! Maybe it's amognst the not too wet not too dry Hoyas? In my conditions I've learned that Mindorensis likes to be moist. At first I was letting my combo pot (all the different colors) dry out completely between waterings and it did nothing for forever, then finally I decide to keep it on the most side and wala new growth especially on yellow and purple! Which are the two I really would love to see do well.

I grow my caudatas semi-hydro and they do fine. They like heat, humidity, and to stay lightly damp.

The only drawback is how slowly they grow.
