They're so very lovely! Something I've noticed, is that no matter when you've shown your bouquets, the blooms look full petaled and lush! You do such a good job, I'm very fond of them, and very excited when you post new pictures!

I agree Sara-Ann. KyRose, if you haven't already posted your cultivation methods, I'd love to hear them, especially as a rose newbie. I'm not far from you in Cincinnati and believe we share a common geology so I always look to see what you are growing. I feeling enabled already. Maybe I should just order something now to baby over the winter. : )

Sara-Ann and Vaprovac, you are very generous with your compliments. So much depends on the weather and the varieties, then location. I feed the roses a lot, a fertilizer junkie. In the spring I start with Osmocote and fish meal, then usually around mid May periodically I start adding Mill's EZ Feed, alfalfa tea, Neptune Harvest, Monty's, Peter's or equivalent, Epson salt, and Iron granules. Sometime in July I use alfalfa pellets. Early August I add Mill's Mix and this year added Woodace, a granular fertilizer. I am still doing a weak Neptune Harvest or Monty's, as in spraying the foliage. I do spray with pesticides. This year I ocassionally used some fresh horse manure.

Good gravy I love seeing the mini bouquet with the reg bouquet! They all look so perfect. Who is the creamy beauties in the center of the first pic and the pretty purples to the left of them? Judy

Judy, thanks. The creamy large with a hint of pink in center is Dona Martin and most of purples are Poseidon and a few Sweetness..

Wow oh wow! Love Dona Martin with the lavenders. (and the others! great combo!) I am growing the wrong roses!! :-)

Would the pinker of the lavenders in the 2nd pic. be Sweetness ?

Who is the red in the top 2 pictures ?

Is that 'Sunny Sundays' with the minis ?

Irisgal, the pinker, darker, shorter lavenders are Sweetness and the bigger red is Grande Amore and the other reds are Veteran's Honor. This morning I made 3 arrangements from the bigger roses.

Oh my. Gone to heaven. 'Dona Martin' seems to pull these together and a step above. And the red is so good with the lavender. WoW!

Have I got these named correctly? Thank you. I am now going on the search for 'Dona Martin'.

Irisgal, love the labeling. All are labeled correctly except for the top left. I think it is European Touch, love that rose, too. I got my Dona Martin from K&M and it is on fort. rootstock.

Irisgal, I took a picture this morning of the other side of the labeled bouquet and this purple is Sweetness. Hope this helps for contrast.

Irisgal, I forgot to answer your question about mini's. The bigger than usual yellow/orange is Autumn Splendor.

Finally, I made a couple of mini arrangements....And Baby's Breath.

    Please excuse the borders!

OMG KentuckyRose!!! Those last 3 camera shots of the minis are stupendous. it looks like pink baby's breath on my monitor and it is perfect. Thank you for answering all my questions. You have an eye for putting together the right amounts of the right colors. I'm looking again at this one (below) and removing either the stripey red or the gold or both ruins the bouquet. Amazing. Who would have thought to add those? Sorry to botch your gorgeous pic.
