love your light! I think your colors are fine. maybe switch out those towels by the sink for something gray/white pattern. or since you have a bit of aqua, maybe a nice patterned rug in front of the sink. And if that's a shower curtain in the reflection, get something w/a bit of color.

Yes, the light is great! It's become the focal point. I bought these little containers to echo the sparkly lights.

The brown/greige herringbone type "rug" is actually tiles. Which is kind of the main problem for me. I had planned a different tile, but the day of the install the tile I had picked went missing. So in order to not delay the project, an alternate was chosen without me seeing it first as I was in labour!

So we ended up with this dark grey basic tile and brownish grey contrast tile. So now I'm not sure if I should just stick to the grey tones to avoid more colour confusion, or add some pops of colour to distract from the greys not matching that well! If I went the grey route, I'd mix in different patterns/textures. Maybe a lattice wallpaper or polka dots? If I went the colour route, maybe teal? But open to other suggestions as I'm having a hard time seeing what else might go. Paint an accent wall or something?

start with some patterns/color in towels or shower curtain. see how that goes. maybe BM Sea Salt? It's a greenish gray. or for plain old gray, try BM Gray Cloud. BM Palladian Blue is a soft, spa blue you might like.

Any of those light colors mentioned above would work, and the gray you have currently is fine also if you don't mind it being so dark and gray. I would just put a white or coordinating colored rug over the brown tiles. They are really the only thing that doesn't work in the space.

For me, in a smaller space like a bathroom I'd limit the colors and patterns. So I'd get an estimate and a redo for that tile rug and then I'd either have it redone or use a rug over it. Who signed off on the other tile? No reason to have this one thing that you are
fighting against.

By the way, I'm in the middle of two complete bathroom guts that are past schedule and I'm almost 32 weeks pregnant. I'm so worried they won't get done while I can supervise!!
