Lime tree trunk damage

During hurricane Matthew, a hickory tree fell down severely damaged my three year old lime tree. It ripped off about 1/3 - 1/2 of a section of trunk. The canopy seems to be doing fine after about 6 weeks now. Is there anything I can do to help with the recovery?
