My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
This plant opened up for the first time couple of days ago, after three years of waiting. I took this photo last night; just in time, because my two year old pulled the pouch off this morning.
Lovely slipper bloom! I love paphs but have not had very much luck growing them. I have 7 or 8 growing now for the past year, hoping for blooms this next spring.
Ingrida: Thanks. I'm mostly into Cattleyas, but I've gotten into a few Paph's, which all seem to be coming into bloom at the same time.
Sheila: Keep trying. I had the same challenge when I first tried slippers. I gave up for a while, and then tried it again recently. I'm having much better luck this time. Good luck with yours.
