My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
A friend of mine gave me trimmings off of her monstera plant to profigate, they didn't have any roots growing out of them, she seems to think having them in water for a while will get some roots growing. Is this true??
You shouldn't have any problems with propagating Monsteras and having them grow new roots. I would just go ahead and pot it up in a fast draining soil, give it some bright, indirect sunlight and water, and it will take care of the rest. There's no need to root them in water first.
^ This is my Monstera's roots. Earlier this year, I hacked away three-fourths of the potted roots that it used to have. As you can see, it has filled in the entire pot already.
I find that once it has filled in every nook and cranny with as many roots as possible, then those potted roots stop growing. It will continue to send out plenty of aerial roots though.
