I pick my orden today..1 (mozaike is bad) the 5 ..others 4 is very nice and healthy

I got my October order in today...finally! Princess Claire's bulb is HUGE! Am I the only one who bought this in here? This variety is named as such to honor Princess Claire of Belgium so I really wanted to see how beautiful it is.

Both of my bulbs look interesting.

I have got all my bulbs and they all look good. I also bought a Princess Claire, and it is one of the largest bulbs I received of the 11 I purchased (not all from Royal Colors). I was going to order one of the limited editions but unfortunately Royal Colors has apparently changed shipping companies since my first order and now shipping to Canada is too cost prohibitive, especially for only one bulb.

I still haven't received my bulbs from Royal Colors that I placed the first of October . ... ugh

I still wait for my firts orden fron RC..my second orden arrive ., by the first not yet....

O someone stole!!!! I can't believe it,,,, I miss my paquete!! I hope someone take care... :(

Jumping into conversation after being gone a loooong time. I received my jumbo Luna, Aphrodite, and MozaiQue yesterday!

When hubby walked out of the Post Office with this quizzical look on his face carrying this huge white bag, he didn't know what it was, but I did! My heart soared as the temps are going down to ZERO in two days!!

But when I felt the box inside or what should have been a box, my heart sank. Home in two minutes I opened the bag to find this.

All the bulbs were huge and feel firm before peeling, some with viable roots!! I'll peel them later, just now I'm so happy to have them and such gorgeous bulbs at that!!

I hope the rest of you receive you bulbs today or soon and in as good condition as these are!! Hurray to Royal Colors this season for making these lovelies available to us all!! We can dream about next year's offerings.......☺☺☺Donna

I just peeled them all as much as I could, the skin was very tight which is good. All but one have viable roots plus a bud poking up on Mosaique and one on a Fledermaus Hopefully some of us will be able to bloom a Mocca and a Fledermaus simultaneously so we can put an end to the speculation as to whether or not they are the same!!

I didn't order any this time around but as soon as I bring up the troops from the basement and assess any damages, then we'll see.

I didn't do a second order either as after handling 30-40 bulbs of Cappuccino/Mocha in 2011/2012, I think I've had enough of it. Lol This variety was still unnamed then which Paul and I decided to nickname as Cappuccino. It's flower color is very dependent on sunlight exposure. Lesser light/weaker UV rays will give you more cream green in the flower and lesser brown shadings. This pic was taken during winter December 2011 where our UV rays in Virginia was only registering at 2 out of 10.

I finally got my order! it took forever! all the bulbs was ok even after the box was smashed the only exception was my Terra Mystica as the basel plate had a rotted spot on it :( i was really upset about it! I ordered 6 bulbs and I was most exited about getting Terra Mystica and this is what I got :( i sent Paul an email and he apologized about the bulb and told me he would send me a free bulb of my choice the next time I ordered so that made me feel better about the situation !

I'm so sorry about your Terra Mystica :-(((( I ordered TM from White Flower Farm about a month ago and it came with a split but calloused over basal plate and a little bit of rot. I did my best to clean it up and applied some rooting hormone with fungicide but it hasn't budged. I'm wondering if anyone else had "issues" with TM???? Things that make you...hmmmmm?

Ed, I'm so glad you got your order!!! It appears that they opened your box and had one heck of a time taping it back up but that's really great news that they finally arrived!! They only x-rayed mine. Since Terra Mystica was offered by several vendors this season I think that they most likely will carry it again next year and you will be able to get an exact replacement!

Maria, I still have the one from you a few years ago that gave me those gorgeous flowers and it's doing fine, just a bit smaller and I never did get it to bloom again but still a healthy bulb so I had to try again for some flowers!!

This was taken in Feb 2012 (wow.. was it that long ago??) and I had it in a sunless window in the corner of the front of the house and this is what I got!! I think your May blooms are even darker so this time I'll keep these in the sun!!

Fred, my Terra Mystica came through perfectly infact, it is sending up a bud!!!

I only ordered 9 bulbs from RC in total this season and not a spot of rot on any of them!! This was my lucky year as in past years, it was a different story, as you all know!!

Like a mentioned earlier, I can't wait to see the comparison between this and Fledermaus!!! Will have to give them the exact same exposure....☺☺☺

Fred...My Terra Mystica from RC came with a rot also which I cleaned and didn't inform RC anymore. So hmmmmm also. Ha! It has a bud out now while the Mysticas are still zzznoring.

Donna...Looking forward to your pics! If Fledermaus is different, "maybe" I'll order it next year if they offer it again. I ain't paying for that much shipping from NL for 1 bulb. Saving my $ for other newbies to come in 2017.

I wasn't so happy with my Terra Mystica when I received it from RC but after cleaning it seemed to be ok. And this is how it looks now:

Mystica started with leaves and roots and this morning there was just the tip of a bud...

I was too late to get Fledermaus, I only got one Mocca. Please post pictures if you have them both!

So Canadians be aware of royal colors in the fact they are uneducated what documents they need to get your order to you. My royal colors orders two years in a row got seized by customs because of lame royal colors not including the legal import permit for the bulbs to pass customs...

But to USA customers we Canadians envy you. We wish we too can experience royal colors. Enjoy your bulbs

I emailed Paul and asked if the varieties they had online were all they were going to offer this year and next spring.. he said that they would offer new varieties soon!! What do you guys expect to be the new varieties?

What do you think he meant by "soon"?? I don't know that they ever offer new varieties in the middle of winter so I'd say that "soon" means next season, what do you think?

As far as what to expect to be new varieties, hopefully exotics, the sky is the limit!! For the past several years they had been offering some real gems. Maybe some of those will be returned to the offerings. Merengue, Santos, Rosario, Cirque de Soleil Cyberspace, Kahlua, Octopussy, Tiramisu and countless others also!! We'll just all have to have patience....☺☺

Wow... I got a plain brown box today with no return address other than the postal handling service center in Atlanta, Georgia US. I shook the box and couldn't figure out the contents, but it had the heft of my Royal Colors order that was expected but MIA.

I opened the brown box and the first thing I saw was a note saying that my package had been compromised and may be missing contents! Then I saw this!! :-(

There is good news though; it appears that all the bulbs are fine. It's a Christmas miracle!

Are the varieties up on the website the only ones that will be offered for the 16/17 season or are there new ones coming up? Is what I asked
