I'm waiting for a couple more weeks until my Peter's Honey goes dormant so I can wrap it up for the winter. My question is, should I water it at all during the winter? I am fairly clear about using burlap, dry leaves, chicken wire and tar paper to wrap it, but do I water while it is in this state? My tree is very young, I also read it is advised to cut it back by about half it's size when it has gone dormant, before overwintering. I would appreciate any advice! (Zone 7b)
